CINE LATINOAMERICANO: Festival Cinema Tropical

Seis películas componen el menú de la edición 2016 del Cinema Tropical Festival que se presenta este fin de semana en Queens. La fiesta de cine latinoamericano contemporáneo empieza este viernes 26 con "Mala Mala", de los directores Antonio Sandini y Dan Sickles. Protagonizada por April Carrión, la cinta, sobre la vida de la comunidad transgénero en Puerto Rico, fue elegida Mejor Película Latina de EEUU por Cinema Tropical. Terminada la proyección, Sandini, Sickles y Carrión hablarán con el público. El programa se complementa con "Invasión", "Ixcanul", "El incendio", "Videofilia [y otros síndromes virales]" y cierra el domingo 28 con "Jauja". Ésta multiproducción (Argentina, Dinamarca, Francia, México) es dirigida por el argentino Lisandro Alonso y recibió el Premio Cinema Tropical al mejor largometraje 2015.
