California Congresswoman Hilda Solis, a daughter of inmigrants, has been nominated by Barack Obama to be his Secretary of Labor. That will make her the third Latino official to be nominated to be part of Obama's Cabinet, after Bill Richardson ( Commerce) and Ken Salazar (Interior).
