Kerouac’s beloved Beat epic, one of the most iconic and influential of all American novels, finally comes to the big screen in this jazzy, freewheeling adaptation from Salles (The Motorcycle Diaries) and executive producer Francis Ford Coppola. Aspiring writer Sal Paradise (Sam Riley) falls under the spell of “the mad ones”: intoxicating ex-con Dean Moriarty (Garrett Hedlund) and his seductive wife Marylou (Kristen Stewart).
